Our Doggy Day Care

We cater for all types of dogs - large and small, young and old. We get to know your pet on a personal level, and carefully consider their individual needs and requirements to provide them with an optimised experience for maximum enjoyment.

Your pet's wellbeing is always at the forefront of everything we do.

Socialisation

A dog may be man's best friend, but they certainly love making other friends of their own kind.

We encourage socialisation between dogs to develop and nurture their social temperaments. In doing so, they are able to have heaps of fun with their own kind and develop lasting friendships.

Agility Equipment

THE BARK PARK features a wide variety custom designed agility equipment, from see-saws to climbing frames, giving your pet that extra level of enrichment. We have something for every type of dog!

Social Media Updates

We post regular daily updates on our Facebook, Instagram & TikTok accounts, showcasing all the fun and activity your dog will have had throughout the day!

Indoor & Outdoor Areas

We have multiple purpose-built buildings on site. They are warm and dry, ensuring that come rain or shine, not even the British weather will hinder the activity of your dog. Every day is a play day!

Four Acres of Space

We have over four acres of countryside land at our disposal! Having such an extensive site enables us to operate different groups of dogs simultaneously, with your dog placed in a group appropriately suited to their characteristics.

Dog Training

Our staff are highly experienced experts in all things dog. We understand that, especially with younger dogs, training a dog can be quite challenging. Rest assured, however, we are always on-hand to lend our advice and will happily assist with any ongoing training your pet may require throughout their day with us.

Pet Collection & Drop-Off Service

Work or other commitments? Struggling to reach us? No problem! We have an air-conditioned van available with safety cages and a dedicated driver, enabling us to offer a pick-up and drop-off service between THE BARK PARK and your home.

Collection & Drop Off Service

Unable to drop off or collect your dog(s) from THE BARK PARK?

No problem! We offer our very own dog collection and drop off service with dedicated,  trusted, CRB checked van drivers. Our drivers get to know each dog on a personal level, making them fully content and relaxed whilst travelling with us.

Our drivers take careful consideration for the wellbeing of your pet(s) during their travels with us. As we only run our transport service in local areas not too far from THE BARK PARK itself, your pet(s) will never be inside our vans for longer than necessary.

Our vans are also fully air conditioned and fitted with safety cages for complete safety and comfort.

Not going to be in when we arrive for collection or drop off?

Not to worry! Simply leave us a key and we can either collect and / or drop off your pet without you being in, all whilst following your specific instructions.

Our Induction Process

E8EE58B9-D93F-4F30-AD85-035050471FDC.JPG

We consider the wellbeing of all dogs in our care at all times, therefore we are very selective in who we accept into our day care.

We only accept dogs that show zero signs of fear or aggression towards staff and other dogs, and those who successfully pass our trial assessments.

Our induction process below details our procedure for accepting a new dog into our day care.

1.

We will discuss your requirements with you and assess if doggy day care will be beneficial to your dog(s), and confirm their suitability.

2.

We will provide you with one of our application forms.

Via these forms we will gather all the essential contact details we need from you as our client and all especially important details about your dog(s).

3.

We will arrange a trial assessment session for your dog at your best convenience.

Our trial assessments are an essential practice to our doggy day care business, as we must ensure that your dog(s) can safely and confidently get along with all other dogs currently in our care.

We will introduce them to some of our dogs, whilst assessing them for any signs of fear, aggression towards staff or other dogs. We encourage dogs to be left in our care for around 3 hours, so we can assess if they display any signs separation anxiety from their owners.

4.

If your dog successfully passes their initial trial assessment, we will then make arrangements for them to be scheduled into our day care bookings.

Your dog(s) will be placed under a probationary trial period of up to 4 weeks. This is to ensure that your dog(s) settles into their new day care pack appropriately.

We will also provide you with your unique client number so you can access our online client portal, where you can request services from us, view or edit services you are currently scheduled for, and more.

Doggy Day Care Entry Requirements

Male dogs must be neutered to attend THE BARK PARK, unless under one year old. Exemptions apply only under veterinary advice.
